Mortgage issues, Dream of purchasing real estate is shattered. Help?

This financial crisis is more and more annoying, and I`m really scared because I don`t know for how long is it going to last. Earlier this year, I was thinking about buying myself a small real estate in Porthsmouth, since I wanna move there and start a brand new life. Anyway, this crazy idea of mine didn`t last for long, since me and my mom have some problems when it comes to paying the mortgage (well not quite a mortgage, but a loan that resembles one), so the real estate project is put on hold for the moment.

I was thinking about buying that real estate in Porthsmouth because it`s definitely one of the most beautiful cities in England, and the university they got there is a really good one. Besides, I really feel the need of a change once in a while. You know, we all get tired of the same old places and the same daily routine, and we want to make a change in our lives, to try living in a  different place. In my case, this change is a major one, because buying a real estate and starting a new life takes time and money. I did my homework and googled in order to find some not-very-expensive real estates there, and I found a couple, but as I said mortgage has become an issue so I`ll have to postpone the whole thing.

I simply felt the need of sharing this with somebody, because it all started with a regret. The regret that I am not able to buy myself the real estate of my dreams, and this is gradually turning into frustration. Oh boy, frustration is the last thing on Earth I need right now.

Besides its beauty, another reason why I chose Porthsmouth is that apparently the LGBT life is a really good one there. They have all sorts of gay and LGBT bars and clubs, and that`s exactly what I`m looking for: it`s quiet, peace and has that friendly environment I have always been craving for. Who knows, maybe next year I`ll buy the real estate (which by the way is a duplex) and I`ll be able to see how people are in Hampshire.

I talked to one of my friends too this morning and told her about the mortgage stuff and my idea of buying a real estate. She told me that she`s very optimistic and she`s sure things will be okay in a year tops, when the economical situation will improve and all this mortgage issue will be gone. I`d love to be as optimistic as she is, but I`m the realistic type of girl and that`s what prevents me from dreaming. If you ask me, I think that we`re right in the middle of the financial crisis, and nothing will change in a year. Everybody is having a hard time now, banks started to put pressure on their clients, the mortgage loan increased by 10%, and the real estate market is in trouble, too.

Anyway. I was born and raised in Eastern Europe, and here although many people dream of leaving the country for the United States of for the UK, very few of them actually manage to do so. Hopefully, I`ll be one of those who can and will buy a real estate in Porthsmouth, once the financial crisis will become history. What else could I do? Wish me luck, guys!
