8 questions NOT to ask a transsexual

April 29, 2010 |  by  |  Share

It is known that being a transsexual supposes lots of courage, self-esteem, ambition and determination. Some people may find this phenomenon weird or even funny, and that`s why they ask transsexuals stupid questions that not only offends them, but also make the curious one seem a total incult.

Most of us can cope with those particular questions although they are really unpleasant and it occurs many times that you get tired of some people`s mockery. I will show you 10  of the most common questions that transsexuals are asked in order to satisfy curiosities.

1. What is your original name, you know, before you were transsexual?

Well, it is the one that I choose to have right now in the moment of speaking that really matters. There is no such thing as "original" or "fake" name. I don`t actually take my ID with me everytime I go out, so I guess I can assign myself any name I want to.

There are some bad questions, too.

2. Do you still have your "string" attached?

If curiosity tickles you that much, I invite you to come and see for yourself. There is no bigger offence than asking a transsexual if she has had her surgery yet. Since you are not her fiancé, lover or best friend, I assume you have no right to ask anybody this sort of intimate  questions.

3. You like women, right?

This is a very smart question indeed. It is true that some transsexuals (very, but very few) changed their sex and afterwards started dating girls. This doesn`t mean that if I choose to complete my transformation, I am going to do the same. You know, I soooo don`t want to turn into a woman just to be a lesbian.

4. Did it hurt when you chopped it off?

Uhm ... you know, there`s this tiny detail you`ve missed. It is called A.N.E.S.T.H.E.S.I.A. . Thanks to this wonderful and revolutionary discovery, you don`t feel a thing. Besides this, you don`t chop anything off, you just use your existing tissue to remodelate a female genitalia through SRS (Sex Reassignment Surgery). The post SRS period may hurt a bit, though.

5. Eww ... why did you choose to be gay, when you could be normal?!

Being gay is not the same thing with being a transsexual or a shemale. Gays are those men who LOVE what`s between their sexy, muscled legs and also love other MEN, while transsexuals are, as I said in one of my previous articles, persons that aren`t satisfied with what nature gave them. Also, it is not a matter of choice, but a matter of thinking and the way you see yourself.

6. Omg.. can I see it????

Of course you can, but you may NOT. Transsexuals are not a piece of museum that everybody can admire and occasionally touch just to see if they`re real. After the surgery you will have a female genitalia, and since you ask such a brilliant question I assume  now that you are some sort of macho man and you know how that looks like, don`t cha?

7. Do you date gay people?

No, thank you. If I am a transsexual means that I identify myself with the opposite sex and I am trying everything I can to look accordingly. Gay men are called gay for a reason, as I stated earlier. You do the connections and see what result will pop out.

8. Do your friends/colleagues/neighbors etc know you`re actually a MAN?

Transsexuals are not men. They used to be once, but they are not anymore so it is not appropriate to say that even if you want to make a compliment to  beautiful T-Girl. I don`t really think that my neighbor John needs to know that, as long as I`m not having sex with him nor is he my plumber.

9. What did you look li,ke before?

Let`s do a simple exercice. Try to imagine a woman with short hair, thick eyebrows, no make-up, no implants and thick voice. There you go, glad I could help.

10. How do you get... you know, the pleasure part?

I buy it from the store, actually if I`m lucky enough I might get a discount for buying two of them. I don`t like being asked questions related to my personal life or what I like doing with my boyfriend in our free time. In the end, I don`t ask you about size and endurance now, do I?

Hopefully I wasn`t too harsh on your senses, but try to put yourself in the skin of somebody whose one of the most ardent wishes is that she turns into a woman, and try to imagine how would you react if somebody asked you one of these 10 questions above.
