Would you go for esthetic surgeries?
Excessive esthetic surgeries!
We know that esthetic surgeries are an option for many of us, especially when we are talking about stars and Hollywood celebs. But what happens when some of them just forget the number of the esthetic surgeries they`ve had? Or what about those persons which made an obsession for the perfect, flawless look, and due to the countless esthetic surgeries have become monsters? Here is what I think.
Not once did it happen for BBC, CNN and all the big news channels to present cases of personalities that decided it was time to go for the scalpel and diminish the first signs of the age and the surgery went awfully wrong. Nobody assures us that once we go forĀ esthetic surgeries we will get the results we were expecting or that there is no posibility for complications to occur. It is a risk we like to take, just for the sake of a younger face or a more beautiful body. But is it really worth it?
Excessive esthetic surgeries occur when somebody has too many operations and think that having more and more is the way to perfection, regardless of their health. On the other hand, some people decide to go for more esthetic surgeries because some of their former interventions went wrong and now they are trying to repair the mistakes. As you may guess, this costs lots of money.
Jocelyn Wildenstein is one of the most known cases in which surgeries went wrong, really wrong. Her purpose was to have the look of a cat, transforming herself from female to... feline! She spend no more than 4 million $ on these excessive esthetic surgeries that did nothing but turn her into a monster. Her face is filled with silicone, her eyes are too slanted and her lips were ruined by the way too many colagen implants.
Another celebrity known for her excessive esthetic surgeries is Amanda Lepore, one of the most known transgenderes in the world. She claims not to remember the precise number of the esthetic surgeries she has had for the past twenty years, but she admits that some of her esthetic surgeries include hips, ribs, eyes, forehead, cheeks, chin and not least, breasts. Her first surgery was the one that turned her into a woman, after which esthetic surgeries just kept on pouring... . I hope she stops, because she already looks like plastic.
To sum up, I think that sometimes esthetic surgeries can be awful and can turn you into a vicious person. You aim to improve your look and boost your self esteem, but sometimes you end up crying your eyes out for your old, natural body. When esthetic surgeries go wrong, the surgeon is not the one to blame, at least not always. Implants can slip or they can change form or position if you are not taking good care of yourself after the surgery, so it is all your fault if you ruin it all.
