The hits Freddie Mercury wrote for Queen are numerous. When you look down these list of hits, you can see the different genres and styles that make it hard to pinpoint one style for Mercury. He said he hated doing the same thing over and over and he kept his word. I believe his unpredictable style coupled with his massive talent made him the superstar he became.
In 1970, Mercury and Brian May with Roger Taylor formed the band Queen. Mercury said that in naming the band, "I was certainly aware of the gay connotations, but that was just one facet of it". His vocal range and technique were astonishing. I found the complexity of the music he wrote, like in "Bohemian Rhapsody", fascinating as did millions of other worldwide.
Barry Francis Gouldsbury
The third contestant who entered "The Big Finale" of Mister Gay Europe 2011 is Barry Francis Gouldsbury - Miste Gay Ireland, with whom we had a great time.
Both me and Alex (www.ideidegay.ro), were "assaulted" since the very beginning by the positive attitude, the wonderful smile and the good jokes. Everything went almost perfect, and I say "almost" because, due to the fact that we were captivated by the great atmosphere and the jokes, we forgot to turn on the voice recorder! Happily, we figured out that we have to push the recording button after three minutes since the interview started, which wasn`t as bad as we initially thought.

IGDQ: Hello! For the beginning, tell us something about you!
BFG: Let`s see... I`m 27 years old, I live in Dublin, Ireland, I`m a gimnastic champion, I work as a hair stylist and I study fitness because I want to become a fitness coach.
Some of the most known artists and top twitterers such as Kim Kardashian, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys or Usher have chosen to be "digitally dead" for World AIDS Day. They did this because this way they hope they can raise one million dollars in order to help those affected by HIV/AIDS.
Basically, this Digital Death thing is a fund raising campaign, and if you ask me, they deserve our respect for this. Together, all the artists who agreed to be part of the campaign have more than 30 million followers on Twitter or other social networks such as Facebook, and all of them have agreed NOT to tweet anything/post anything new, until the sum of 1 million dollars is raised. No worries though, all your favourite stars will "come back to life" once the million is raised
When asked if he would get married, the puertorican star Ricky Martin said that he would like to. Apparently, Ricky Martin regrets the fact that Puerto Rico does not recognize gay marriages, although in many countries all around the world this is a right that gay persons have.
Ricky Martin stated that he could get married in Spain or any other country where gay marriages are recognized, but he would like to do it in his country rather than any other, since he doesn`t want his marriage to be only symbolic, he wants to get the same advantages as heterosexual people.

Throughout time, society has been gradually changing, and mentalities as well. This is the main reason why some of the most known and popular artists out there, whether we`re talking about singers or actors, have decided to step out of the closet and finally come to terms with their true sexuality. Many artists have claimed to be gay, lesbian or bisexual, and although at first they thought this would take their fame away, on the contrary, more and more LGBT people began to like them, not only for their art but also for their courage to stand up and proud.
If you ask me, my favourite gay artists are Elton John and Ricky Martin. Okay, I admit it, I like Ricky more because of his looks and to die for body rather than his music, but who can blame me for that?! When it comes to Elton John, personally I see him as a legend, a gay man who managed to change the perception of millions of people out there.

Earlier this morning, I was pretty bored so I decided to search for celebrities on Twitter and see how many followers they got. So, I reached Lady Gaga`s twitter account and I saw that she has more than 5 million followers, which is quite a lot, but on the other hand this comes as no surprise, keeping in mind that she`s one of the few famous singers who really care about the LGBT community and showed it so many times before.
When I took a look at her latest tweets, I saw that she was very thrilled because of the Prop 8 turnover on 4th of August thanks to Judge Walker, and she said that she`s about to write a new song in order to celebrate the victory of the LGBT people.

Okay, I think it would be fun to share some thoughts about the sexiest guys (celebrities only, `cause I do find my neighbour Jack a real stud, but nobody knows him so let`s just stick to well known guys hehehe). First of all, I`d like to say that it`s normal to have different tastes, since there are so many types of guys: Mature guys, youngsters, blue eyed guys, green eyed guys, black haired boys, etc.
So, here`s my top 5 sexiest guys:
1. Ian Somerhalder - You probably know Ian from the TV series LOST, where he was playing Boone. He is DEFINITELY no.1 when it comes to sexiest guys alive, if you ask me, and those eyes are absolutely breath taking! ;

I came across Candy Darling by mistake when I was searching some data about Andy Warhol. Well, apparently Candy Darling was a beautiful transgender woman and a brilliant actress. Although she died at a very young age (29), people still remember the beautiful Candy Darling and link her name with the one of her friend and associate, Andy Warhol. Candy Darling played in one of his films, basically he was the one who made her famous and highlighted her talent as an actress.
Although her childhood wasn`t the easiest a transgender actress could have, she managed to make her way through life and become a well known celebrity (you can search for Candy Darling on IMDB if interested). Maybe the only great thing about her sad and lonely childhood is that her mother always loved and supported her, although her brother didn`t want to admit that Candy Darling is his transgender sister.

Yeah, you guessed! Lady Gaga is in the spotlight again and she doesn`t stop to impress! Yesterday I`ve seen at a news report that Lady Gaga had a photoshoot, or at least this is what they think, for a japanese magazine for men and her new look was absolutely shocking: she cut her hair short, dyed it black and she was wearing a costume... . Some people rushed to say that she even looks better as a boy than as a girl!
The press released to the public only a couple of days ago a series of photos facing a "male model" who calls himself (?) Jo Calderone, and curious as I always am I googled for some more info. As I expected, the Internet is again full with rumors and speculations, but nobody knows for sure if the model is actually Lady GaGa. HollywoodGossip informs us that there are several messages hidden in the model`s name that lead to these speculations. Designer.
It is a fact that most gay people nowadays choose to be designers, make-up artists, hairstylists or painters. But what is it that makes gay people so popular in arts field? Did anybody wonder where do they got this talent from (well, most of them, I`ve seen gay designers failing little by little in a remarkable way, lol)? I`ve been asking myself this question and still didn`t manage to get an answer, maybe you could help me and tell me why do gay people are so talented.
There would be many examples to be given, like famous designers and brand owners who managed to stand up and make a name for themselves. Some people say that the talent is native and "comes with the package" and gay people have this 6th sense especially when it comes to clothing and visual arts. Don`t really know if there are any researches made in order to determine the factor that makes gays have so reffined tastes in the arts field. Oh well, I do feel the need to repeat myself though and highlight the fact that not all gay people are good in what they`re doing. Being a famous, well-known designer and follow Coco Chanel for example would be everybody`s dream, and this is why more and more gay people become designers, some of them forget the fact that it takes TALENT in order to become successful (I do have a couple of fashion victim friends like this).
